About The Hotel

Temple Lodge - a Georgian Listed Building in Hammersmith - is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Broadway, yet is just a few minutes walk from its main underground and bus station. It was once the home of the artist Sir Frank Brangwyn. Whilst his studio, which he built himself, has now become a chapel with a vegetarian restaurant on its former mezzanine floor, the house itself is given over to welcoming bed and breakfast visitors to London. They come from the four corners of the world to enjoy the quietness and tranquillity of the house. Many have described it as a really peaceful haven to return to after the rigours of a day out. The absence of any televisions in the house or rooms supports this atmosphere. We are now in our third '3-star' year as awarded by Visit England. Visitors to the house enter a courtyard with a small garden through the 'Angel Gate'.

To the rear of the house is a quiet and secluded garden, and most of our bedrooms, the library and the dining room look out over this garden with its seasonal changes and squirrels in the trees.
